The yearn for Serenity

bon voyage

Stretching my arms, I ache to fly the inexhaustible azure above
To break free of the shackles constructed of guilt and remorse.

Glide across an expanse of greens, and the barriers called mountains.
To Breathe an air not contaminated with emotions of love or antipathy.

Shy the birds while they acquaint and make a tête-à-tête
To not fall in the allure of  this new shackle called companionship.

Surge past the eagles and zoom across to that desolate new pinnacle
To smile gratifyingly,  and the embrace the serenity finally!

    1. Yes. I guess only those would understand who would have had a bitter sweet relationship with 'love'. Exaggerated, so rightly put. Glad you liked the poem and pic. Thank you for this motivating comment.

    1. Saru, I read and reread your comment. And then I showed it to my mom. A confession here, whenever she reads my posts, she looks out for your comments and now you can only imagine how much of joy it has bought her to read your this comment. And about me, I have no words. I don't know what to say. Made my day! You are veryyy modest. But thank you so very much!

    3. I got the hidden meaning for need of liberation in the lines but trust me it doesnt mean that u have to reject everything and get liberated. Sometimes people need liberation from overwhelming happiness they are in!!!

:) My liberation idea is pack the bag and leave for some vacation :D and thats what I saw in your lines ;) its always u see what you want right :D
